Sold my F80 m3

Hi guys

Sorry to inform the fanatics that I have sold my f80 today. I have been offered a new c63 and after reading all the positive write ups on it I could not resist. I also heard one with a performance exhaust and its intoxicating. Sorry to say but the cabin is light years ahead of the m3. Awesome sound system, seats, steering, and boy that v8 engine. Sorry I sold you guys out but I could not resist the 63.
Getting my car in a weeks time.

Same here.... but yes the interior of the merc is just that much nicer. End of the day, you wanna be as happy inside the cabin as possible.

I can't say I agree on the interior. It looks nice on paper but I was unimpressed by the real thing. I was driven in two different cars, one with piano black and the other with wood trim but both looked and felt cheap and nasty. Really not a fan of the new interior.

But, that V8 is a beast! Congratz and enjoy her!

What bothered me most was the "chrome" trim that went around the edges of the wood. It just looked soo cheap. Also both cars were new (less than 5000km new) and the piano black one was already scratched. Might just be me being overly picky but definitely check it out in person and decide for yourself.

The cabin in the 63 can not be compared to the other models. Chalk and cheese. My car has black with red pepper leather with carbon fibre trim.
I enjoyed the m3 and still think it's a better track car but i don't drive on the track.
I missed the v8 too much.

Congrats Bro. I still think the M will always be better but that's a personal choice. And we didn't even get to do a meetup or the photoshoot by the optometrist. May you have many happy miles with the C63 !! when will it arrive

The s is only coming to SA in 3 months from now. Well that's what I heard from my dealer anyway.
Even if it was available immediately I would have not taken it. I don't think an extra 25kw is worth 170k.
List price on my car is just over a bar excl extras.

Very good point! It's not like you can use the current full power output all the time (driving on public roads). So good decision!
