Software for JHB Fanatics - Introducing Promotec to Jozi

Alright gents, we would officially like to offer you guys the opportunity to have your pride and joy mapped by Rolf, the legendary Promotec Man.

I have discussed this in depth with Rolf and he is keen to offer a saving to the JHB Fanatics.

Our normal price for our Performance Software is R4999 including the the before and after dyno run.

We are willing to offer a R1000 discount bringing the price to R3999 including a before and after run.

Guys, this is not the first time I have extended our services to the Johannesburg region. Last time I had huge commitment on the forum but ended up cancelling the trip due to non payments.

This will be our itinerary for the trip:

We will be in Johannesburg for 4 days.

On day one and two we will ID & Read the ECU on the cars, day three will be spent creating the updated files working through the night to create the new custom files. On day 4 (a Saturday specifically) we will load all the software to the cars. Should there be an available dyno on said day we will make use of it.

The price is right, we are offering a discount and coming to you. :thumbs:

So what do we do from now on if we want to go ahead?

In this thread please provide the following details (or via PM if you prefer to keep it personal):

Make (If you want something other than a BMW transformed)
Model
Year
Mileage
Modifications (In full detail if applicable, this is vital)

Please note that a 50% up-front deposit will be required, do not put your name on the list if you cannot pay.

Gents, we are deadly serious and are more than willing to travel the distance to please our customers.

Cool. I've spoken to Rolf via pm about getting my Jeep Commander 3.0CRD flashed. Almost considered going to CT for a holiday to get my car to him.
But the problem is this. I live 250+km from Joburg. I cannot stay there for 4 days.
Will it be possible to make an exception and do mine on one day????
If so, I am 110% in on this offer!

I still remember how hard I pushed to get you to come up and detail my car.

Problem is, there are too many mouthpumpers on the forum. I dont think 50% deposit is enough, perhaps, you need to make it 50% non-refundable.

Meaning, if you dont pay the rest, or if you as a customer back out, you dont get your 2k back. Simple as that.
I Think that will seperate the mouthpumpers from the serious guys on here.

Good point. Many other businesses follow the same basic principal. You guys should have a minmum requirement and IF that number isn't met, then you can refund the money.

What about motor plan, will bmw pick it up if they connect it to their computer?

Yep - even if you do manage to hide the software well, a simple drive should reveal the difference between a chipped and standard car, especially on the turbo models.
