I have been enjoy my soft close on my e39 boot vey much. Now I know the E60 got it on the doors later/optional.

Now been wondering if one could retrofit it to e39 doors. Does anyone have an idea if possible? Idea of what needed?

Yea im sure its possible,

You may have to recode the ZKE module to incorporate soft close.

I am not sure if there were variants of the ZKE for soft close and non soft close, perhaps.

You will not be able to just grab a ZKE out of another car, or I dont know, but it may bitch at you if the ZCS coding is differant.

But in theory, this is all possible..
