So this is my boring e90 330d

I bought it towards the end of last year,

It's a 2006 with 88 000km
Body work isn't great- a few scratches and a crack on the front bumper that needs to be sorted ASAP.

Options wise,

It's exclusive pack with
Auto
active steering
Active cruise control
Xenons
Electric seats
Electric folding tow bar
Front and rear PDC

It's fantastically average in every way
It's quick-ish, light on diesel and looks anonymous.

UNTIL.... Friday.....

It went to Alistair at Xcede Performance.

Stage 2 software and De-DPF down pipe fitted.
Not dyno'd yet but Alistar recons somewhere around the 180wkw and 600nm mark if not more

I collected the car in the afternoon and drove the 5km back home in peak traffic! Joy!

Come Saturday morning I took the car for a little drive around from my GFs house to mine,
All I can say is :D

It's so much more responsive, first gear lights up the rears on anything other than smooth tarmac,
In gear acceleration is just silly and the torque wave is fantastic.
In the real world it's no doubt quicker than my ex e46 M3

I then realized I've made the perfect sleeper.
Other than the badge and the exhaust it looks like a bog standard 320i.

Loving it.

Glad you enjoying her, I've been contemplating selling my 320d and buying a 330d next year.:fencelook:

Soooo, not sure if the guy is on here,
Just had a little run with a black Z4 M,
Rolling run from 80ish I stayed pretty much dead even with him.

Pretty impressed with this smokey thing

They are very underrated cars. Love mine as well :)

Nice low mileage for your year model. Enjoy it

Edit: Didn't check the age of this thread. My bad :fencelook:

Brilliant! I hear the 330D's are miles apart from the 320's.
This must be even more of a beast.

What's your fuel economy been like?:roflol:
