So I had an Accident...

This morning i got rear ended by a Govt. vehicle... a Toyota (Avanza i think).
Thankfully the damage isn't major, but as we all know it doesnt have to be major for it to be schlepp. The taillight's gone, the bumper is loose and a bit scraped (I think it can be put back fairly easily), and I've got paintwork damage.
I'm just hoping the quotes are reasonable so we dont have a write off...

Toyota really is junk. Look at this:

Many years ago I got rear ended by an little toyota corolla (one of those 80's jobbies). I was in my 1991 325is at the time. e30 had a cracked taillight lens, small body damage under the taillight, and a few scratches on the bumper.

Toy was crumbled. Total write off.

E30's are strong.

I remember 10 years ago , I was with a friend who had just moved up to Jhb with his family, we were driving... more like rolling towards an intersection with a whole line of cars right up our bumper , where suddenly the Audi in front for no reason stopped dead 6 cars before the traffic lights , we swerved out of the way , Unfortunately right into the back of a red E30 . I will never forget that day.

His car a new corolla at the time was completely wreaked , the whole front end crushed in , The car eventually had to be towed . The E30 , small scratch on the paintwork , and a misaligned bumper . E30s are strong cars .

I had a good look when I got hom this afternoon.
The bumper may be able to be reseated.
The a bit of scratching on the bumper.
There's a small dent above the tailight and some of his paint.
And I've lost a bit of clear coat on the side of the tail light.

All fixable, thankfllyraise:
