i hope i didnt miss it-
but would anybody recommend Powerflow in JHB, fordsburg?
im looking to get my pipe from the branches to the back box re-done- think the baffles are gone.
any advice-

he was actually quite fast he took less than 3 hours

you have to book the car in before you take it in for fitment because he works alone and only has 1 ramp

I'm going to keep it n/a i'll will be happy if i can get it in the low 14's or break into the 13's :)
the 20v motor is very strong when boosted but they are very very weak.... so i'm not sure if i'll go the turbo route

Lunatik, what mm pipes were fitted? How many box's? is it free flow or normal box's? is it dual pipe from the front or was it changed to a single pipe?

Reason im asking i put free flow dual pipe setup on my 320i but damn it was sounding like a motor bike. That was with 1 free flow box in the back and a power flow replacing the CATS.....So i took it off and put the standard back box and kept the power flow on in the front....Its silent now with alot more power......More noise to me = less power.....Let me know what you did please...thanks.....

I fitted a 57mm single pipe with 2 freeflow boxes..... also consider that my car is a compact to the exhaust will be shorter than the sedan and the sound and power might be a little different

the car is not very loud but it has that deep gruff kind of tone... my friends said it sounds like a DSG GTI... i said dont degrade my car :)

More noise = less power.... got to agree with you on that :thumbsup:

btw your 320 looks Sweet :drool:

I know this is a dumb request but can you maybe take a pic of the back box and send it to me?? I think the back box i used was very small hence the over loud e30 325i tone which makes your ear buzz........

Im sure the powerflow in fordsburg closed down, there is 1 still opened in randburg.

Have , you had the car dynoed yet ?, i picked up a 318ti for my wife about 2 weeks ago , and was thinking of fitting a freeflow system , if the difference is major then i may just do it.

nah i think its cos its 2 pipe from the front and the back box i have is also double in double out.....and yes Andrew its cos its 6 cyl....

It sounded wicked tho.....Just 2 loud for the long drive from PTA to Jozi everyday lol.....

cool , will be interesting to see , the wifes car moves decently from 4000rpm upwards , would like to get the torque curve to spike earlier from maybe 2000rpm , in my experience changing the branch to a different config should help with this , i would think with a decent exhaust, branch , decat and filter you should be able to squeeze at leat 115kw out of the motor
