You need to think about aligning the front bumber though and look at putting in fender linings so it looks complete and you dont see all the way through the wheel arch to the front mesh grill on the bumper.
Otherwise it looks fantastic.
Love the lighting (headlights and interior lights) and the effects on the pics.

After lol but for some reason my wheels scrape pretty badly on the arches if i go through a dip, i think my shocks are done, so i just have those metal spacers in the springs to lift it a bit and keep it from dipping too low. but i want to sort it asap, looks too high off the ground :/

LoL I was wondering why your car is sitting so high, my car also got a 40mm drop with 17inch rims and theres about a finger space between fender and tyre. What size tyres you got & where did you get those metal spacers ?
Oh and your car looks dam nice :thumb: great pics
Guetzer said:haha yeah i know it looks much better without the spacers, then i can just get my pienkie in between the fender and tyre, its 18" 225 40's i think maybe 45. U can get the spacers pretty much anywhere, i got mine at midas. What tyres do u have on and do they ever scrape? i was actually looking for 17's but apparently its harder than i thought lol. i want to get my suspention nice and stiff, any ideas? coz the car is pretty hard on the road due to the low profiles but its still too bouncy like a ship... i heard the standard oil shocks arent so good compared to new gas ones.

I got 235/40/17 tyres and it doesn't touch the top of the fender at all. The only place where it does touch is the inside of the body but thats only when you turn the steering full and also because its 8J rims, a 7.5J rim with the same tyre wont touch at all.
Suspension wise.... Lev fitted M3 bushes to his car and said handling felt much better but the downside is the road trembling is much more pronounced when compared to the standard bushes.
LoL once the car is dropped, standard shocks wont last long, infact dont fit standard gas shocks either because they'll bottom out quickly. If you can afford it, get koni's or bilstein shocks..... otherwise if you on a tight budget like me, get the Monroe Sports![]()
ekseniks said:I have the same issue with scraping on the inside. I've been looking everywhere for a solution for the E36 suspension, something that is firm but not ridged.
Due to extreme budget cuts I ended up fitting normal gabrial gas shocks at the back, and i've been meaning to do the front too. Bushes, I'm told are also gone :/
Dooms, if only you were in CPT I'd love to meet up and compare suspension

The scraping on the inside is something I've got use to. I avoid swinging the steering full to make a U-turn, infact it takes me 3 moves to do a U-turn
Why you don't come to Johannesburg or even better come down to Mpumalanga  We can compare suspensions & I'll show you all the Mumpara's that live here
