Snap-in Adapters??

Hi guys,

ok so I have this weird looking thing in my 2007 325i middle console. Looks like this:

So I did read a bit on it and it's phone connection for mostly an Apple Iphone. I have a HTC one X.. Anyone know where I can get more info on this?

I would like to just use it as a music player. I don't like the Aux in because I can't skip songs with it and hoping this snap-in adapter will work.

Else how do I convert it to a Ipod connection?

Gives a drop down for compatibitity with different cars, even though I dont think you will find one for your phone.

Im also not sure if the new BMW's support music over bluetooth, which might be your best bet. but dont think you will be able to convert the Ipod connector. think you would need some hardware between that connector and your phone, which wouldnt be worth it.

Why not just get an Ipod for the Car? Might be the simplest solution.

You just have to buy a snap in adaptor for the model of your phone you using.
Make sure your car has Bluetooth connectivity ticked as an option or else all the adaptor will do is charge your phone.

If you want to use the other cool features you also have to have navigation.
