smoke coming from tail pipe bmw x5

I have a 2005 bmw ACTIVITY / automatic 3.0 petrol. When i start up the car, lot of smoke is coming only from one of the 2 tail pipes. After a few seconds the smoke is gone. But when i idle and rev the car hard the smoke is back."

Can someoneraise: please tell me what the problem may be

Smoking exhausts sometimes mean worn valve guides, but the 3.0 petrol is not (in)famous for that, AFAIK. Is there an oily deposit in the tailpipe? Only one exhaust smoking is quite interesting. Only some of the cylinders seem to be in on the Smokey act.

blue is oil

black is fuel

white is water


blue relatively cheap to fix with maintaince

black is also cheap sometimes ,could be injector issue or pump or filter

white is problem in it could just be a pipe or a gasket, or its expansive and is the head gasket

so what color do you have, there are more professional ppl on here that can diagnose :sorry:
