I think they like that to reduce the chances of rolling the vehicle, can't think of any other reason for it...

Exactly my point, unless it is one of the motorbike conversions with the Busa or R1 engines as they go RWD.
But I am not the expert just interesting.

But it's got me thinking... Can you sell a rat rod to someone else?
COR would be difficult, but not impossible?

So I guess once an owner decides to convert to a rat rod... It's his for a long time.... Which begs the question, Skank, let's see the build process on the rod

The mini, I suppose I should start a thread. Rear wheels in true rat rod style were stolen from an 80's Formula M car. They slide fantastically round corners as you hammer the fronts for grip. Mini is half built. Much more coming.
