Hi All,
I have a question... :rollsmile:
Short while back my car(320d e46 F/L) started to make shuddering/scratchy rattle noise. This only happened when I started to press the clutch in as soon as it is fully depressed the noise stopped, was just on that second to third inch.
Thought this was the thrust bearing so I replaced the whole clutch kit(old clutch still looked good and thrust bearing looked a bit off or just very dirty etc., was a BMW thrust bearing) but anyway so I finished the job and started the car and the noise was a lot better.
Thinking maybe it just needs to be run in a bit, 300km later and the noise is back to where it started. :argh:
Car has now over 180k on the clock
Any ideas what I need to look at? :fencelook:
