Shudder And Clunk

so i took my brother to the airport this morning , while travelling on the N1 going around the bend at galoolies interchange i started getting a shudder on the front wheels , and could be felt strongly through the steering wheel , as the road streightend out the shudder went away this happened twice once at 80kph and at 110kph , could this be the lower control arm bushes ? iam almost sure they need replacing the look terrible and i get "loose clunky " noise from the front end when i go over speed bumps.

secondly when changing gears i get clunk engaging noise from the diff and can be felt through the body of the car , i have checked the prop and the bolts are tight, i have not yet checked the diff oil.

1. Yes, it could be control arms+bushes.

2. Could be guibo or gearbox mountings or something else

Ok checked this morning , the bushes look fine and have no play on them , but I noticed the ball joints have play on them quite a bit so iam thinking they are definatly the culprets here , I called around and they only come with the complete control arm. Any ideas were I could get a decent price on this item? I called Bemos but they are closed

gizmo Can supply them at decent prices. Also get tie rod ends and rack ends checked. Could also cause similar symptoms.

Meyle parts can be bought from Incomex. they are only open during the week. They are located across the road from Centurion lifestyle centre, but delivery should be free .
