My current PC is as follows - bought in late 2009:

MSI P55-GD65 130W DDR3 GB LAN ATX S1366MBD
LG 22X DVD WRITER SATA NERO 7 + FACE
SIGMA AEGIS 0.8MM BLACK - NO PSU
PROLINE 600W ATX12V V2.2,12CM FAN, NON PFC
MSI N260GTX-T2D896-OC 896MB DDR3 448BIT x1
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1 TB SATAII 32MB 3.5" x1
APACER 2GB DDR3 1333MHZ DIMM PC3-10600 x2
INTEL i7 860 QUAD CORE 2.80GHZ 8MB 2.5GT S1156
Gigabyte GM-M8000 Laser Mouse with Ghost mouse pad

My old PC which still runs, believe it or not, is a circa 2001 rig comprising:

AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.333GHZ
Asus A7V-133 PC-133 SDRAM with a total of 640MB RAM
Leadtek Geforce 4 4200ti with 128MB AGP
80GB IBM Deskstar ATA100 IDE 3.5" HDD
160GB Western Digital ATA100 IDE 3.5" HDD
250GB Western Digital ATA100 IDE 3.5" HDD
AOpen CD writer and AOpen DVD writer IDE
Logitech Mouse Man Dual Optical Mouse

Older graphics cards used were, the horrible Riva TNT PCI (not even AGP) 32MB card, then a lot better, the Gigabyte Geforce 2 Pro 64MB AGP. Also had an old IBM Deskstar 20GB ATA100 IDE 3.5" HDD...

This old PC still runs but really needs to be retired! Has a problem with cold bootups due to the power supply and I suspect one of the WD HDDs, so to get it up and running you have to start the machine minus the HDDs and then individually plug them in, then all is fine. Used to be able to put the machine into standby so that at least the CPU and HDD's could be powered down, but now coming out of standby seems to trigger this above problem. Thinking about it, that machine is literally 11 years old later this month! And as per the Max Payne 3 thread, this was the machine that I obviously used for it! :bravo:

LOL, still have my even older Slot 1 type Intel P3 450MHZ and PC-Chips motherboard, and various other bits and pieces from that era! And then we must not forget our first PC, an old DOS based 386DX with 2MB (or was it 512KB) RAM - originally had a 40MB Seagate HDD!! :roflol:

I used to have games, music, documents, installers and wallpapers on my old PC, and it had 2.1Gb of hard disk space. Now I can fill up terabytes. Even Max Payne's install is 27 - 31 gigs...

2 x 1tb Samsung HD's for other kak
27inch Samsung HDMI LED screen,
1 x nVidia Quadro 6000 Workstation card

It is sad that there aren't more AMD's on this list. What happened to their hay-day
:nonono:

I used to be a huge AMD fan, but the price performance and clockability of the Quad Intels at that stage was impossible for the Phenom's to beat
