So the Kawasaki I was interested in has been sold. What sort of mileage is good when looking at a bike from 2006 - 2015?

For me the right mileage would be between 0km (2015 ) to about 13k km for a 2006 model providing it has a full service history.

Budget is around R55k max and it'll be a daily commuter (40km per day round trip). I'm looking at the 600cc range and I did find a 2010 Ninja 650 with 19k km.

I know I'm reaching a bit with a budget like that and an engine size that high, but one can dream

With R55k I think you would struggle to find something with less than 15k km on the odo.

Unless you find some seller that in some financial difficulty.

Look, If you find a 600 with close to 20k km make sure it has been taken care of.

The seller must be able to give some proof of work being done etc.

I know of a R6 (the model just before mine) with just under 60k km on it.

Its also his daily. But he is very strict when it comes to servicing.

Yeah it's a bit of a stretch on my part. I'll see what I can find, but the ninja 650 is looking promising.
