Should I trade the e46 for a Cooper S?

First off nothing wrong with my e46, I love and have no issues with it.

I have however always liked the Cooper S I just could not find one with in my price range last year. Now a year later they seems have come down a bit.

I looking at getting the supercharged version the first gen.

What do you guys think?

Anything I should look out for on the first gen?

Thanks

I love the Mini's so personally I will do it.

Owned a 02 R53 and never had major Issues.

Actually the last 2 weeks I've been considering trading my X1 for a R58

The Mini was the most fun car I've owned.

I am going to assume you are female, as you are interested in such feminine cars! :roflol:

Just kidding bro, i personally think these are awesome little cars, i wouldnt fit in one however, being 6ft9.

Dont have much input other than I have 3 cousins that own these cars, from first gen to the new one... and they have no issues.

Good luck man!

Dude, from all the cars I've owned, the Mini got me the most female attention. Chicks will come and chat to me about the car.

Once we were at Zwartkops for a track day and 2 buddies usd the car to go buy us food. They only got back 3 hrs later cause they met chicks that wanted to ride in the Mini. I never got to track it that day.

the mini is a nice Fwd car but I just dont see it as a better car than your current e46...

the e46 325i has a similar 0-100 is Rwd has a very nice interior and rides better... only place the e46 needs work is in the sound department but this can be easily done...

only reason to trade it for a mini is if you want a Fwd hatch and I dont really like Fwd hatches... that said IF I had to get a Fwd Hatch the supercharged mini would be high up on my list

The R53 would oversteer on the Track. It was FWD but like a RWD.

I fully agree with thing is, these dam Minis just appeal to me so much.

And I have not read anything seriously bad about these cars. The interior does not match the e46 at all, but I think I will be able live with it.

one word... NO.

ok, seriously, i think they are awesome cars, i like their handling characteristics(from reading reviews). it cant and should not be compared to your e46 as they are not competitors.
