Quick///M said:Stock G7s I kill them its not even funny, then one day I had G7 on the highway pull up next to me he ran ahead of me but my fender was at his front door, I was surprised how well it ran, back then I had no downpipe though. With some mods they will take out a 335i

It might beat you in a straight line, but a BMW corners like a boss.
You also have more luxury, more comfort, more packing space, more safety...

I mostly sit in the middle lane in the N1 doing 100 - 110 km/hr. Since I got the 335i nearly two years ago I got my first fine a month ago - 70 in a 60 zone.
When I thought the GTi was a stock G7 I was worried that there is something wrong with my car. So more my paranoia that I have a fault than someone being faster.

Vw diesels also supposed to be producing less than 100g/km co2... Dont believe everything you read.

you haven't driven a 6 or 7R around the twisties... more accomplished than you give it credit however not as ëventfull as a BMW...
The question is, do you want to be faster by time or pleasurable as an experience?

I do believe your car isn't as healthy as it should be, you said your break pedal is hard in the morning which implies that you have a vacuum leak, its this same vacuum pipes run your boost control as well which can give you that "non responsive" moment when you plant the accelerator pedal. The n54 is renowned for it responsiveness and what you telling us is counter what the car should be like.

This is what I am thinking as well. I know when I just got the car that sport mode was maniac and the first time I tried it I thought that's too much for me. I was thinking of changing all the vacuum pipes as a preventative measure.
The car just does not feel as responsive as it used to be. There is also very slight jerking when accelerating from standstill. Could be the slightest of misfire. Here I think I need to take the car for a carbon clean.
Will it help if I buy one of those Bluetooth OBDII dongles i.e will it be able to pick up boost issues or any other faults or are they just "toys"?
