Champagne Sports is the better place to be but Drak Sun is a good alternative.

Yes the Drakensberg is certainly a lovely place to visit and I think is the perfect location for a quick getaway. I am less of a fan of the big resorts though. my favorite is Antbear Drakensberg Lodge near to Giants Castle.

Yeah me too when it's just the wife & I also prefer something more private. This place looks nice. I have also been to Granny Mouse in 2000, Catherdral Peak 2004 & Alpine Heat 2008 and I drive a BMW so I don't place Golf, Lol

Alpine Heath terrible, hilly, no braai facilities outside horrible rooms, dangerous fireplaces for kids.
Granny Mouse boring and not great rooms
Cathedral Peak never been
Champagne Sports 10/10
Drak Sun very nice

Took a flight over the Berg with a Champange stop over on the mountain. Can't believe how awesome it looks from above
