Shell V Power vs F1 fuel

Since I'm new here, I hope this isn't a repost (the article is quite old). I have been doing some thinking about the possibility of a diesel F1 car. But that's another story. Looking up chemistry of F1 fuel I found this interesting article for all the Shell V Power fans:

interesting article, as a user of shell, ive always found shell vpower/nitro 95 to be a awesome fuel, i normally get 50- 80km more range than any other fuel!

But if im not miskten, everywere else around the world Shell v power is 98 ron?

Yeah 98 proper. Just us here in our lovely sasol controlled country!

I used to work for Shell, they show some really epic comparisons from the fuel used on f1 cars and the v power we get/used to get. the did a test with the fuels on a track with logs to compare once and the times also spoke for the fuel if that makes sense. lots of people wont believe it but yeah thats what i saw in my years there
