Servicing my 323ci

My car is off plan as you can imagine; do you know of any good BMW mechs that can service my car; its got 130 000km.

what does it cost + or - ?

what service is it due for? oil service, inspection 1 or inspection 2?

at stealers:
oil service = R800
inspection1 =R1300
inspection2 = R2500-R3000

Hey

i know a guy in Pretoria (Raslouw) as well; actually am from Pretoria. Hes really good so if i don't find the equivalent in JHB; i'll have to take it to him.

I don't think i can make the meet up this time; but i will definitely join you guys as soon as my car is done in the near future.

Let me give you the low down on the vehicle.

I bought the car at a good price;its got the full M kit; so it looks like CSL however its got some hail damage which i'm busy sorting; has no service books(managed to download it; if you need a copy; pm me); but the motor; suspension seems fine; the mileage is original. So basically i need someone whose good and knows these cars. I need the full major service. So willing to spend up to 2-3k as long as i'm not getting ripped off.

PM me the numbers and location; i'd really appreciate it. I don't want my car getting F$%& by some chancer.

The central lockings faulty; i think it may be the actuators; opens from inside and the boot unlocks and locks; who can fix this aswell?

Getting a good pice for part from Forsdicks Sandton and then taking my car in tomorrow morning to Ross in Midrand.
I hear he is very good in what he does.

I fixed the car's actuators myself with a part I obtained @ Bemow's - that was 3 years ago. Cost me R350 and a Saturday afternoon. You need to remove the glass (if it's the front) to do this and then be sure to replace any broken plastic clips. They become brittle as the car gets older. Some shops just quickly fit everything together without replacing these and then you sit with rattles.
