service indicator

hello fellow bmw fanatics. i have a e46 320i and hav noticed recently a icon looking like a clock appear above my service indicator. please does any1 knw wat this mean? my car is due for a service in 8000km on countdown and suddenly this lil clock icon appeared.......... please help as its the first time im seeing it. my car current milage is 105570km

my last service was at tygervalley forshdicks on 18/07/2011. i just read some interesting info in my service book:" the lil clock icon on led display is on 5 and 7series and on the z3", well im nw stumped

my car is going in 4 a service in nxt 2-3 months, can i wait till then 2do it or does it hav 2b attended immediately?

Just have the fluid changed at the next service.
