Any further personal attacks will result in warnings and being sent to the principals office.

I came on to this thread because I saw that the info given about our Z4's was not very accurate and wanted to inform everyone about the actual facts on these Z's.George, everyone was giving some type of constructive info except your friend that YOU allowed to continue(i didn't hear you chirping in at all when he gunned Sav)and it was his goal to get this thread shut down(which you did)so I will not be giving out anymore info here as you are biased against some guys. You shut it down quickly after i posted my dyno sheets, hey!Wait till we turn the boost up!!!Would Sav have sold over 140 of these turbo kits at over 100k a pop if they were crap? You allowed this guy to run someones name into the ground without stating facts or proof but like Moranor said earlier, its what haters do!I am finished here so anybody wanting to know more about these FASTEST FIRST Z4M TURBO'S IN THE WORLD,contact Sav@Savspeed or get my number from him!

Guys this is how we do theads here,we play ping pong writing nothing until we get board and then shut it down if the only real info is given as it doesn't suit us!

911 boxer I think you have it wrong George Smooth closed the thread because it was tuning into a pissing contest again...

when the other tread was started and he saw there was more interesting info being discussed he merged them and found a better solution so the thread could stay open...

Did George Smooth make a mistake by closing it? maybe but he fixed it and now you pretty much just shoved back it in his face...

locking treads has always been a last resort on this forum because there is strong freedom of speech here and generally members conduct themselves appropriately...

'play ping pong writing nothing until we get board and then shut it down' sounds like a child's game and im sure George is not interested in playing...

No I actually shut it down because I didn't like the dyno sheets :roflol:

Guys the thread was closed so warnings could be issued to the relative parties that took the thread off topic so we do not have a repeat on the next topic.

Agreed, chill 911, lets just move on and discuss the cars.

As to the questions regarding what I am lookng for when I asked about the suspension mods:

I currently use the car as a DD so if I do anything to the suspension it needs to be comfortable enough to still use on *spit* SA roads.
And the ultimate point would be to have more fun with it on the track. But like I said earlier I am probably quite a few trackdays away (need to learn more) before I can justify a mod like this, so just trying to gather as much info as possible in the mean time.

Thanks

UberTaner unfortunately the best street suspension and the best track suspension are very different... anything for both will always be a compromise

M cars come out with probably the best compromise for street/track... my advise is unless you have warn parts that need replacing is to rather get on the track and decide from there what needs changing and build the car around yourself...

George Smooth made the right decision to ensure the thread does not get derailed.

Guys lets focus on the topics in the thread and not accuse the mods of ulterior motives...we trying our best to navigate the threads when we notice it goes off topic.

Lets all just take a deep breath and refocus and enjoy the forum conversations.

Bud do yourself a favor and let me know where you are situated? I will arrange a drive at the next track day that 911 and another friend of mine Stelios host every few months at Kyalami, they book the track between them for the day and you can go with me in the 1M, Z4 M turbo and Mp4. Then you can get a proper indication of what you want. Let me know bud?

Hey 911 - Probably Qba

Question regarding the cutting out: What was the issue and has it been sorted on Sergios z4?

Sergio is a extreme driver and likes going close to 300kph all the time and wants everything working (like the TC)as standard so makes it extremely difficult for Sav to sort out. There are another two Z4 turbos in the world, one hpf car and one in Europe that can't get the cars to run(well over a year)and this was a massive challenge to overcome. All the electronics are linked up together and if one thing reads a fault it shuts everything down so when you turn the boost up on his car the ecu hits limp mode. After a bit of convincing he is taking his car back to Sav to get my cars upgrade and should be sorted in about a week from that. His car is nice and quiet to drive(compared to mine)and is set up as a road car and handless very very well around the track(1:54 around Kyalami).Whoever buys this car will be getting a bargain as he has spent well over 200k on it.

Big ups to Sav for getting this right

So does that mean that your car has some stuff not working as standard in order to get around the software issues (like TC based on your example above)?

My car is a track car and I decided to leave it off as it intervenes way too much for my driving style. All my cars run TC off, even my stock M's when I had them as they slow me down on the corners.I also don't enjoy 4 wheel drive(incl.gtr's,911's or even lambos)as the only thing more irritating than a nagging wife is understeer.I similarly don't enjoy autos or dual clutch unless I am cruising with my family as it takes the fun out of driving(FOR ME)and you need a clutch to do the things I do when playing(anyone that's been with me will know what I am talking about)Ken Block style! You can't do that with a auto. That is just my preference and I am not saying that any of the above are not good and i am NOT Ken Block either guys.

This is all i got from the day at our Clubs Supercar Shootout day hosted by Stelios who i think has been tested positively MAD:fencelook: and 911. Unfortunately there was no side ways driving because 911 had his Z4 M Turbo's ass lifted by a bakkie on the highway.

There were alomost 100 cars by afternoon as this was still early the morning. The Club organisers Stelios and 911 book the track for the day and guys get to take there machines around the track with full Marshals etc like any other track day except these cars i think cost a little more:cry:

Sorry for high jacking another thread but I thought it would like candy to a kid delight most petrol nuts seeing cars like this and lighten the mood a bit

Oh and on my 1M build thread these were a lot of the wagons that went on the Clubs breakfast run as well, awesome bunch of guys. Maybe the guys will forgive me now as I posted some pics at least.
