Nice Sash! It's so difficult to find a shop that does good spray and repair work. From the pics the bonnet looks a different colour to the bumper, but it's probably just lighting and it being a picture.
Definitely lighting, I looked from all angles trying to fault their paintwork, fitting and alignment, so either i'm getting too old, or their work was just good.

The things i noticed when picking up was 2 clips missing on the fender extension, which BMW delivered the incorrect number and clips were actually on their way to the shop at that time. The shop hoped it was going to get there before i did, but by the time i sorted out the paperwork, it was fitted.

The other issue was a bit of overspray on the foglight bracket which they managed to sort out without much hassle, again all in the time I was signing the paperwork.

Nice work with the cleaning bud! With reagrds to your wheel sealant, it's simply not realistic to expect a spray on synthetic sealant to last more than a month really.... The next level would be a coating similar to the one below:

https://pristinedetailing.co.za/collections/gyeon-quartz/products/q2rim30ml

This would be far superior to the product you are currently using.

I agree, in retrospect it seems that from a cost perspective ceramic would have been better.

I have never used ceramic coatings and have this fear of it. I honestly think I have added ceramic products into my cart multiple times.., but just never follow through.

I get you, but trust me here... Once you start applying it, you'll laugh at yourself for ever being intimidated. It's pretty much like applying a wax.
