Run flats

I somehow managed to get pick up a puncture on my rear tyre. Turns out the tyre is slashed and cannot be plugged. So I've decided to replace both rears as they are due any way.

Got a few prices. R4500 seems to be the going rate for Bridgestones. 9k for 2 tyres.

Yeah I thought about getting the spare wheel from dlk but I dont have boot space for it

Check out Kumho I think they make run-flats. They are getting really good reviews on the net and are about half of the price of Bridgestones.

Im with don on this one, loose the runflats.

Just for basic punctures, keep a can of that tyre inflator/sealer stuff in the car, should cover you for most of the lil annoying nails and stuff.

We used to get our kumho's from Supa Quik.

I have to agree n the Kuhmos's !! I will happily put them on my e46 now that i have seen how they performed on my e36.

I have given my e36 to my mom so i will be able to monitor the Kuhmos and Km's achieved.
The Kumhos were new when i got the e36 and fitted to the front. The Kuhmos have done over 40,000km now and they honestly look like they havent dropped a mm of tread. Sure the car doesnt do mega mileage every day, but she is on the road every day with a bit of highway and town.
I got 40,000 out of them... lets see what my old lady can do lol

I bought 255/35/R18 for the rear and 225/40/R18 Perreli Runflats for our E90 for R13K at Tiger wheel and tyre. the fronts where more expensive than the rear.
