does anyone know were i can get the rubber inserts on the tappet cover for a E34 525i exept the dealers!

and also what is a good oil for this car!

I am assuming you are refering to the rubber tappet cover gasket, you could try beemows, but I am not sure if they will have it. How much does the dealers what for this.

no not the gasket, its in the holes where you tighten the cover to the head.

Ok I know what you are talking about, beemows might still be able to help you or any other scrapyard for that matter, as there is a chance that these rubber things might be the same on most engines os it be worth looking.
