Hey Cap,

I can now see the pics....some nice mods you got there.

Just one observation - some of the other guys may agree. I see that you used a grinder to round the ends of you LCA's. Just a point to mention, and you might see value in it, but the way you reduced the hex shape to round, when you get closer to the end of the tab that goes through the offset bush, you got it round and all, but the base - where it joins the rest of the arm, you ground it 90degrees to the shaft, a radius will prevent cracks which may appear.

My advice, pop them off one more time, and work a radius into that point, as this may result in premature failure of that component, by means of sheering right off where the rounded part meets the rest of your LCA.

Hope my explaination is kinda clear.

A big thanks to all you guys and your motivation to help me finish the build. there have been alot of haters who made me question my decision of taking on a project like this, cant wait till the weekend so I can put in the steering rack but now I also need more parts lol

Thanks bru but for now I am ok as I still have another full set of wheels which will only be used for the back.

As for the brake lines I am in 2 minds as my vtec had them and the pedal was super hard which is great for track but I am not so sure how it will be for my ebrake as I suspect with will make it alot harder to use properly

I am how ever still very interested in the strut brace so please let me know

Finished the lock setup today

Specs are

20mm cut hubs
Shaved ends on z3 steering rack
E46 arms
25mm spacers
Cut e90 tie rods
Cut e36 rack ends

Here is where I shaved the rack. So it has more thread for the e90 rod to grip on

Thanks man been checking out the setup. I now want more lock. So back to the drawing board lol.

I was not liss to work on my car so only got working really late

Decided to measure the new lock setup that I want to use and do something I have been itching to do.

Basically the human slime inside my car was still there so I decided to cover up the electrics and pressure wash that b!tch lol

Hey thanks man much appreciated

Paint job still not 100% decided on


But the car is getting the m50 swapped out for a 1uz aka Lexus V8. Should be interesting as they gonna use a BMW gearbox and 3.64 diff

Eventually I would like to turbo the 1uz with a single turbo setup

How much were the cobra seats,

ATS is like 900m away from my house, I just never go there, too scared, I need everything in that place :=):
