Rough idle, diminished power

Hi guys

After driving off from work today my car felt a bit underpowered & the idling of the car is rough, like it's not firing on all cylinders...opening up the throttle doesn't seem to give me even half the power the car should have.

The below light has come on and according to the owners manual it says "engine emission values have deteriorated" and I should take the car in...



What could this be, have any of you had experience with this?

Oh my hat, probably similar to what's now happening with my Wife's car and my father in law's Z4 a few weeks ago - in his case it was 2 stuffed coil packs and 1 on the way out. Not sure what is wrong with my Wife's car - literally just came back from a service with the agents this afternoon, so pretty sure they've buggered something up! :bangdesk:
