Ya bud

I would have followed you and stopped for a chat but I was running late already - I had to pickup my niece and nephew who stay in the estate.

I usually pass through Thornvalley Sunday late afternoon to drop them off / pick them up. Next time I will rumble past and if I see any activity pop my head in.

Looking forward to seeing all the ///M's together on the 24th!! :inlove:

Ok - finally got around to making and uploading some videos. They aren't great, pretty dissapointed with the mic quality of my phone but I guess its not designed for this kind of use. :nonono:

Anyway, link to clips below:

My boet driving my car at Z skidpan on Sunday (this video has a lot of GruppeM induction noise in it):

Me doing a quick rev:

Some other yank with RE pipes which captures the sound a bit better:

Sorry so late and not the best quality but its the best i can do.

Thanks

That last video is just wow! I would love to own a sound like that  but with headers that must be pretty pricey. Sounds so epic

Saturday 24th November?

I'll def come past and admire

btw, WRC is in the same shopping center so why dont you guys turn it into a mini dyno day while you at it

+1

This could be a good day out, I'm normally not a fan of putting my car on a dyno but as a once off this could be nice to see and hear all the different cars and see how the mods stack up etc.

Can someone also post a location map or directions? I'm coming from centurion and not familiar with anything south of midrand, Thanks!

Is this it?

Well that's a yank video and their cars come with cats in the headers and s-pipe whereas our cars only have the cats in the s-pipe.
So basicallly that video the guy has likely replaced the US cat-infested headers with OEM euro headers just like ours.

Not sure if he has also removed the cats in the s-pipe section as it does sound a little more raspy than mine, but hard to tell with mic differences.

That will be one of the next mods though - removing cats, replace x-pipe and software.
