Time for downpipe :fencelook:
and software.., this cars consumption will drop to the low 5's.... do eeeeet!
Downpipe will happen. Not software. As much as she's perfectly reliable. I'm happy with the power and consumption for a daily. Im not so sure I want to start messing around with more power on a gearbox and turbo with 200k km... Erring Very much on the side of caution I know

I think that's a very good call.

She'd probably be fine to be honest. But I also do believe that if you're going to mod then you need to be able to fix if and when it breaks. At this stage for me thats not so possible. So in the new year a downpipe will happen to get rid of the silly cat and the droopy tail pipes will go also

I'd say the gearboxes on the E60's are pretty good. My dad's one is sitting on just over 350000kms and all he has ever done to the gearbox is have the fluid topped up, othe than that nothing else was done.

Ya look the gearbox is solid man. The shifts are silky smooth and she's always in the gear that I need. But I also don't want to mess with that

Which model is it? I was under the impression that the smaller engines had different ZF boxes which handled less torque.

Yeah no there's no need for more power on Rob's 5er. It's a very reliable daily and will remain as such for a long time with decent looking after.

The E60 is such a beautiful design (he said in an unbiased way). It has aged very well. Those look like great roads, too.

It's aged incredibly well! Such a beautiful car...

Its a fantastic road. I didnt take her much onto the dirt. That particular road is a tar road that then turns into a dirt road, so I turned around when the tar ended and took the opportunity to take a few shots before I went home.

I really do enjoy travelling and there are some seriously stunning places to visit in this country. Always nice to see something new.

This country has some of the best driving scenery in the world and should be fully explored at any opportunity given.
