Wow, I really do like this.
Congrats on her, hope it will give you plenty happy km's.

Service wise will it be similar to the E39 in costing? If I can recall the E39 wasn't really expensive on services and so on?

:clapper::praise:

Shouldnt be too much more expensive to run. Time will tell :rollsmile:

I just paid R1570 for fuel filter, air filter and oil filter from Leo Haese BMW, i use liqui moly oil at R420-R500 for 5 litres ( 7 liters req) and R1100 labour from Ross Duncan to do all the above.

Oil filter is around R300( can confirm exact price when i get home), so oil service is around R880- R1000 excluding labour.

Thats not bad at all!

Rob, after your accident, my heart went out to you, as I can only imagine how you must have felt losing your baby, having lost a few of my own in the past...

At least you were ok, but I know emotionally you will be scarred for life.

Hopefully this new baby of yours will era in a new chapter in your life, and take you into the future with a smile, and whenever you drive it, will make you smile, with a hint of remembrance of your old love...

Enjoy it, love it, care for it, and it will take care of you, keep you safe, and always put a smile on your face, and even a tear in your eye every now and then...trust me... a car is not just a car... its a love/hate relationship that we as petrol heads only understand and share.

I'm so glad for you my friend, and it was only a pleasure being able to advise you, give you input, and help you with the search.

ENJOY EVERY SECOND WITH YOUR BABY!!! :blowheart:

Soooo she got her first leg stretch today...

Drove back up to Joburg from the KZN Midlands today... Averaged 6.5l/100 and discovered how awesome the auto is for 5pm Joburg traffic :rollsmile:

Refreshing to see such a clean example of an E60. I see too many that are used as dailys and the damage shows.
