Eish....so I'm on the highway today and I wind up with a puncture, musta ridden over smething, heard a small wack on the back wheel...a few kays later the car starts to vibrate, I see smoke in my driver mirror, pull over, rear tyre is history, inner sidewall is toast.....a fairly new 225/45-17 finished......

:sorry: ..hate the feeling of a wasted tyre..how much did you do on it?..if alot then not recommended to mix a brand new on one side with a used on the other

shew atleast you came to a safe stop. if its a new tyre could it be a manufacturing default?

Answers to most of the above, in no order.
Yes, I was in my 330i
Don't have TPS
Tyre was about 50% worn
Fitted two new tyres today, put the good one as a spare, spare was about 70% worn.
It was a normal tyre, won't use Runflats.
Not sure of the milage, only had the car a week.
Lastly, no, I did not have a chance to do a burnout...:cry:

Bad news but at least no damage to the car....I think if it was a shittygolof you would have felt it straight away .
I speak out of experience come ride the Eastern Cape roads !!

We only go to KZN and Western Cape for holidays so that we can experience good tar roads :roflol:
