Road Trip! GP --> KZN 2nd Feb

Hi Guys,

Thought I'd just share our upcoming trip with everyone.

So the plan is to drive down to Amanzimtoti (Doonside) From Centurion on Tuesday the 2nd of Feb around 12h00.

It will be myself and my +1 only at this point. We will be staying till Saturday morning when we will be making our way back via Betlehem and Clarens.

I've already notified most of the KZN Fanatics via whatsapp of our movements so it will be cool if we can have a little meet while we down there.

Can't wait to take the beast to the coast

Taking a Go Pro with Will also be having a friendly run with Porra46 on the way back. Even Though I'll be getting a hiding it should still make for good fotage.

I'm a little peeved at myself for forgetting about this trip. I would've loved to go down to Durbs with you Andy, but I have a bunch of jobs lined up for this week.

These cars are really diff animals at the coast! You'll find yourself falling in love with it all over again! :rollsmile: (not that you don't every time you drive it :roflol: )

Everytime I come back from the coast I want to cry as the car feels so dead in comparison. The M5 is honestly more than enough power for me even up here. I'll probably be humbled many times once we hit the coast

What an awesome trip so far!

Such a comfortable car and soundtrack hardly tires one out. I even ended up meeting some of the fanatics and had some awesome runs too.

The drive down had some spectacular shots

I filled 30 litres in harrismith from petroport in Alberton and it showed around 268kms which I think is decent. Further drove down to toti and only used half tank and covered 347kms. OBC showing 10.5L / 100km I can not complain about that

Bud, i hope you've been past thirsty whales in toti for a cold beer and a steak egg and chips.

Also you need to find Lords and Legends, near the civic centre.

Craft beer, good atmosphere and out standing food.
(Ive spent many an afternoon there.)
Also if you gun the M in their parking lot, i'll be able to hear you from my house:tiptoe:
