RGM FREE DYNO DAY

went to the free dyno at RGM today :hammerhead:

it was awesome:drool:

this rRX 7 wanted to go off the Dyno - they had to load to chaps in the back- 228 ATW :dropjaw:

and Rob showed off the M3 V8 supercharged :drool::drool::drool:

I like all the smoke there.
What's with the two guys in the RX7? Are they simulating the downforce of that big-ass wing?
What where the outcome of the top ones?

yeah - it's huge @ss was shaking too much and when floored it wanted to lift off the dyno.

i left around 10:30

the best when i left was as follows

RX 7 288kw - rotary 13B -TD -06( i think )correction from 228

and a Honda CRX 228kw -1.8L turbo - TD -04 low boost

i think this was the best car - stock exterior hailing from BOKsBURG
giving the big okes a nice figure to beat

the rest were a mix of Opels and VW R32 and a few nice M3 + Z4 M Coupe

to be honest - those in JHB know these cars , if you were at RGM , these
okes are packing fat turbos - Honda also came in the numbers and were ruling the 1.8L to 2.4 class - all throwing high 180-200

was lekker -

those who never make- KAR performance is hosting a DYno day as well

but R100 for 2 runs

lol thats me, my chick and rudi standing by that black E46 bmw behind the cobra! I stayed up to about 18h30.. i think the strongest was a 350z 368kw.. ill have the photos and results on www.streetracer.co.za in this week!
there was a E30 325is turbo + nos 348kw..

I would sooner pay R100 for 2 runs than sit in a queue all day thanks My car always seems to make its best numbers on the 3rd run though.

Hey Gizmo i made 176.9kw on the inertia run! but they only revved my car up to 7000.. only saw that on the graph when i got home! peak power on 7400.. but still was the strongest of 6 E36 m3 3.2's

yep I did, :bawling: got a very disapointing 160.4kw on the wheels :cursin:
I guess i have a lot of work to do...the fun beginsimp:

160 on inertia is strong!! that is about 171 on a load dyno! stock 3.2's make about 145kw on inertia!!
what mods have been done to your car?

Yes but only in europe! the south african one came with different pistons to drop compression from 11.3:1 to 10.5:1 due to our crap fuel!! so the europe one 321hp = 236kw and the S.A one 310hp = 227.9kw!!

SA spec E36 3.2 should be pushing 228 kws :thumbsup: due to SA crappy fuels...

236kw was Euro spec..

phumi dont mind sharing! head has been flowed ported and polished! compression is up to euro spec! set of shrick cams! vanos advanced and locked! Dastek uniQ chip.. tnt exhaust 63mm aftermarket lumina back box.. fan delete. aircon delete.. bottom end blueprinted and balanced! AACC lightweight flywheel.. 4puck button clutch.. bmc replacement filter.. very recent mod 3.91 diff!!

make sure they clean your vanos filter!! what oil are you running?
