using warn shocks is not a good way to lower :roflol:

There is no cheaper alternative Sean.

you could fill you foot wells with bricks

If petrol was cheaper, I would consider it

So the car is looking better today. Probably around a third or so of the gap gone. Doesn't bother me as much anymore. If it remains unchanged, I may look at spacers but I have been contemplating for a while to put the OEM wheels back on too. Will see how it plays out.

Do you have any pictures of what it looks like now? My mum's rear shocks on her AW E60 M-Sport are starting to go and increase in ride height with new shocks was having me worried - then I saw this thread! M-Sports look awkward with a higher ride height set-up. :thumbdo:

Lol, we don't have a dealer here in Malawi so our only choice is to bring in spare parts from SA. Ordering 4shocks from Autobahn BMW today! The car is garaged atm.

Sorry guys - I have been ridiculously busy :(

I haven't even taken 1 pic since the installation. But I also stated that it settled a bit since.

@ OppositeLockMT - the height bothered me at first but not much now since it settled AND the drive quality is far more superior than the OEM. Many people used to ask what lowering kit I had on my car when I had none. This clearly signifies that it wasn't sitting like it was meant to, even though it looked good.

Koni isn't anywhere close to your average type product, so I am 110% confident that the shock is perfect for my car and it did not push up the ride height for no reason.

I had seen many like mine and always thought that I was lucky to have my car lower than another OEM model, but little did I know.

@ Moranor - Thanks again for convincing me to go the FSD route :thumb: Price difference wasn't major and I love it.
