So I think I know why it went higher :mmm:
Just pulled out the olds shocks to check the state. As mentioned before, one was leaking so it was a given that it was dead. So dead that it could be depressed with one finger pressure. Didn't return at all in an attempt to get to the original ride height. Almost the same for the other front shock too. What a surprise. Also pushed down with one finger it it returned to about 7cm back but really slowly and stopped way at the bottom which doesnt help either. So this shock was kapoet too.
The rears seems much better and couldn't be depressed all that easily and they at least returned to the original position after not waiting as long Not perfect in any way though.
So yes, I believe that the old was so poor that the car height reduced because of this, giving me the look I miss.
The height seems to have come down very slightly when I checked today so I assume over a long period of time, the height will come down as the shock tires out. Only thing is that Koni lasts way way longer than OEM so I won't be posting an update on this thread anytime soon
