Revamp or Replace Headlights for e46

A big question arises for you guys out there. What does 1 do to get rid of all the chips and marks on your headlight lenses.Replace with new ones at a astronomical price per unit.(solid unit) One could also go to a scrapyard and get,but, at what condition.On the otherhand find a off market supplier to pay less.What would the best option be to have crystal clear Headlights.Stallion.:mmm:

arent new headlight covers around 700 for the set
E46 owners are lucky coz they can just replace the cover instead of buying complete lights

I recall a guy offering a service (on Gumtree I think) to restore old headlights - might be worth looking into before you buy a new set.

I can do refurb the lenses if you want. I have 3 RHS and one LHS lense at the moments. Lenses are R700-R800 each at the dealer. Refurb would be a quarter of thet. PM me if interested

Personally I haven't used those, but have used some of their other things and the quality is very high, yes they are easy to replace.
They are $100 for a set excluding shipping, so it might be better to forst check around a couple of scrap yards for good condition ones.

Howzit bud. I think i should look around as you suggested.But i very much doubt they will look better than what i have currently. Mine are not bad.Just makes me "MAAL" everytime i wash it.If not i wiil go the other route.Stallion.

Hi Jaunef. Can you pls tell me where you purchased them. Do they leak?Some of them are not good and dont fit nicely.Stallion.

I sanded mine down and used compound and elbow grease. Check my thread. e60 lenses restored.
