I know, thanx. Got my left and right confused.......and I so clearly marked them.....should not be doing this late at night.

Mental note to self also not to take a thinners soaked cloth and put it onto the other car. Bonnet will need to be resprayed now.............

ok, and we have some updates. Car is progressing, although slowly.

Now for those restoring, I have found the following stickers in the car:

First two are in the drivers door, last one is in the middle of the radiator, on the connector, right in the middle.

BMW color is on the drivers side strut, right next to the body work.

On the passenger side strut, some brake info.

Below the paint sticker warning to only use original parts

If I missed any please let me know.

And a shot of the new inside of the bonnet

If those stickers have part numbers you can check with BMW if they are still available , I know the paint code sticker and the door sticker on my E30 was scratched and I took a part number to them a few months back , and it was still available . They are pricey though! Might have to wait for it to come from Germany but so worth it. The car would look so awesome and complete with new original stickers .

This might help

Ok, progress is slow, checking parts against realoem, to make sure I include everything. Wipers are done. Waiting for covers which are on order.

Test fitted the bumper, still need to clean and respray driver side under neath the car.

With the bumper back temporarily, it's starting to look like a car again

Lights are on order, brand new Hellas they should arrive in a week or two.

Still need a fog light drivers side frame.

Which seller did you buy from on eBay? I'd like to check out their other items.

I love threads like this.
Inspiring and appreciating to know that such care, time and money that has been spent.
And not to mention the rewarding factor once you are finally done.
Awesome work!
