reset service indicator not working

I have a 2005 320d. My service indicator showed that I was due for inspection, but I know I'm actually due for oil service. Previous mechanic did inspection service before instead of oil service. I did oil service today myself, and reset the service interval which now shows oil service is due in 15000 km. I try to reset it again to let the service indicator show inspection next, but it does not work. Anybody has some ideas is there a minimum amount of km I should drive before I will be able to reset the service indicator to its proper service display the way it should be?

No minimum, just try again and be sure to push hard when pushing the "reset" portion of the process. Watch few you tube vids and you will get the idea.
