sasol is by far the best for my car as far as performance goes. bp is by a long long way the worst.

as for economy the 135i guzzles whatever petrol i give it to drink. 135i and economy do not go together.

I am on Total now, driving very carefully, will get 10,5l/100km on my N54 motor, the best ever:thumbs:

As for performance, it feels sluggish:thumbdo:

For 50ppm diesel, I've only tried Sasol and Engen. From a pricing perspective, it seems that Sasol is a tad more costly than that of Engen and there are a lot more Engen fuel stations on my daily travels. Engen 50ppm seems to give more more mileage, but Sasol 50ppm seems to give a bit more kick.

So the conclusion here is:

Best fuel consumption: caltex or engen?

Best performance: shell or sasol?

Best of both: engen?

:fencelook:

any other verdict??

I found BP to be best of both also...

With the 330d, i have not used other brands but Sasol, but only because its cheaper at the Sasol near me, R11.17 per litre.

im giving up of what fuel is good and will start using octane boost im convinced not every caltex has the same fuel and sticking with the same brand seems to give different results depending on where you fill up a dash of octane boost should fix all of them

Only garage with 95 in Klerksdorp is Shell as far as I know. Not always possible to fill up there as it's on the otherside of town from me :nonono:
