replacement bulb for angel lights

hello there! Can any body out there assist me? MY BMW 2006 320d angel lights just fused and i need to replace the lamp. The dealer wants R544 per bulb!! is there any other bulbs (after market) bulb that is out there that i can use??

Thats the problem! The Car is out of motor plan. Its a 2006 model :bawling::banghead:

2006 model could still have motorplan.. we have a 2004 that still has some plan left... its just that yours did not get extended

I am not sure if this will help, but i had a similar problem with my E39 angel eyes. The globe is a small halogen 12v/10W if i remember correctly. Stealers wanted R135 or thereabouts, which i was not going to pay. Searched around with the blown bulb as sample and found a 5w halogen for something like R35, which i fitted and have no error messages (could be that the original was 5w and the replacement 10w - was a while back) Bought the replacement at a place in the Strand.

hello there! thanks for responding to my tread. I actually replaced the blown bulb with the original one reason being that the blown bulb couldnt be removed from the original housing. Leaving me no choice but to have the entire housing replaced. Antcase the entire fitting landed me R550 ex.vat.
