Replacement air filter for f30 320d wanted. Help.

Guys any suggestions or any other f30 320d owners bought, used, have changed their oem air filters to other brands like bmc or k&N .
Also who has stock of these.
My car is also due for 105 000 km service soon so I want to get a good quality filter.

Shiv - I got mine from Autostyle, they ordered it in for me. Other place that had was IS Motorsport and they also had an order period turn around of about 2 days or so if they knew the supplier had.

Stick with the OEM paper/foam filter as it filters the best. Less contaminants get into you motor oil so that lasts longer and does it's job better. Better quality oil in your motor will give you better MPG and you will prolong the life of your turbo and engine.

I have a 2013 f20 120d, on stage 2, and had a Tweek Performance Filter made for it. They should now stock it as they used my stock one as a mold. Car was still stage 1 when I got it but believe it or not it actually made a big difference. I gained about 2kw and 10nm. Can confirm this with proof of dyno sheets. Havent Dyno'd the car after downpipe and stage 2 file.

I dont know why the quality on the last dyno sheet is that bad but the figures are 166.7kw and 467nm.

Correct. the first one is -2% and second -4%, so it could be that the second one should have more power if it was also -2% if I'm not mistaken?

Don't know why Dynotec does it, the ambient on Dyno days, which was where I got the second one, is always -4/-5%.... If you take it to them in the week its always either 0 or -2%.

I replaced mine with a BMC drop-in...it's great but it does sound louder. I suspect that's because the stock has a cotton-wool layer which insulates the sound.
