Removing steering wheel trim

Hi guys

Can someone please advise me on how to remove the silver steering wheel trim on my bmw

You need to remove the airbag. Then you can access the inside of the steering. Not 100% sure if you can get to all screws without removing the wheel completely but it’s simple. 1 bolt and a few connectors.
Take a pic before removing connectors then you can remember where they all fit back.

I removed mine it's a headache ...although easiest way is to unclip that plastic steering column that holds the wheel its coming from below your cluster just loosen into 2 peices then turn the wheel upside down you will then be able to see the 2 steel pins inside to press it with a thin flat screw driver or a t10 spline but it doesnt just pop out u will need to push the clip with 1 hand and pull from around the airbag slowly till it starts lifting then it comes off... then from the inside remove that plastic clips that hold the plastic panel but be very gentle
