I spoke to the guys here in Woodstock and the blandly refuse to do a downpipe as I requested it... too much work
The hollow out the DPF and put it back and call that DPF removal and downpipe --> R1800
No effings ways.... thats layman's work to me; I'm sorry but I do not accept such workmanship.
I spend tricillion years on a dyno doing development work to find a kw or two and then it gets wiped by a supplier too lazy to do what he is told to do?

I got a decat and complete downpipe (63mm) for R1800 from Powerflow, no hollowing out of nothing! They built me a proper downpipe and it took the whole day and the job they did was very good and the welding was perfect! xFlow was going to do the exact same job for R3500.00 as they told me the labour involved was hectic! Powerflow just didnt rip me off as much as xflow with labour
Powerflow also took me and my GF and my buddy for a drive to the nearest shopping centre so that we could go get some breakfast and catch a movie and then they fetched us afterwards. Very nice people.
And the gains were definately there, on the dyno and you can definately feel it!

Not shooting down POWERFLOW EDENVALE , but one has to look at they dont have the equipment to reset sensors etc.
XFLOW has this equipment !
I always make the statement , cheapier is not better.
One has to do lots of homework before taking ones car to any modding shop.
The only reason i recommend XFLOW is cause of personal experience there with all my cars , they are professional in what they do, they have the diagnostic tools to identify other possible faults or fix faults in a car.
PS: Downpipe is not a straight 63mm pipe. It has to be specific thickness of metal with mandrel bends. Downpipe starts from a 70-76mm tapering into 63mm , this aids with spool.
XFLOW builds custom downpipes based on proven design, not the designs that they thumbsuck.
I know this sounds a bit harsh but i know both the places very well and the owners of these shops hence my words.

osiris said:Look it sounds like we are having a bit of an exhaust fitment centre war here, The reason I went to powerflow was because I was recomended by allot of guys and my buddy who has taken lots of cars there!
I am not saying they don't know what they are doing, but when I walk into a place and I first need to stand and wait for these guys to stop there long conversation with each other and take notice of the client standing there, and then get laughed at when I ask for a quote and get cocky answers about everything, I then walk out and find somewhere else to get my shit done!
When I went to powerflow I got treated like gold! I had no sensor issues or flickering lights lol...I went to the dyno the next day as I felt a massive improvement and when I got the results I was more than happy and the car has only gotten better with time, so they must have done something right.

But just remember, X-Flow is the best and that is MY OWN OPINION
