Remapping my black tractor

Hi guys

I will be remapping my E90 320d in the first week of April, car has been for a full software update at BMW 2 weeks back.

I have been in contact with the Xcede rep in Durban, the down pipe is going to be at Primaforce Exhausts in Durban, recommended by him.

Everything is set for 4th April :rollsmile:

You will not regret it. I have seen mainly the 3.0d and x35 going for software will be awesome to see some results with the 2.0d. Are you doing readings before and after?

Change of plan, the remap will be done at Old Dutch Racing.

This is not a personal attack at Xcede, I have tremendous respect for their work:thumbs:

I contacted Shilesh today, to set a time for the software update, his response was, "maybe we could meet that afternoon", when I asked him how long it would take, his response was "20 minutes to load the file". :nonono:

That's a bit scary :yuck:

May I suggest an alternative?

We do make use of a so called "Client Flasher Unit"
We can send this unit to you, you read your car and send us the unit back WITH your car's Software.

We do our Magic and send you the flasher unit back to update your car with genuine Promotec High Performance Software.

Then you return the "Client Flasher Unit" to us and everybody will have a smile on his face :joy:

If your car has been read and the file written, should take about that long to write.

We just reloaded my Cupra the other day and was about 20 mins to write.

What exactly is the concern ?
