Remapped R56 MCS Anyone?

Curious to know how a remapped R56 Mini Cooper S runs compared to the OPC remapped? Anyone raced these things...
I'm in need of a map? Anyone done stage 1 or 2? Hook me up..

Jarv you have MP. If you are not interested in keeping it then by all means go for it. But seriously MP is worth a lot and you should only be playing out of MP or rather buy a car off MP and start playing as it will be cheaper than a car on MP.

I beat all mapped opcs from corsa to astra. I'm on 160 kw and R53. Note with the R56 mapped + exhaust should be quicker as it has way more torque to the 53.


Just remember the Mini has a weight advantage to all hot hatches.

Here is a comparison between a standard R56 & opc corsa.

1st gear (Mini bad pull off), OPC corsa pulls ahead slightly. When I hit 3rd gear it was bye-bye opc....So standard r56 chows opc. I bet with upgrades it will do the same.

To give you another example the other day I race a scirocco which claims much higher power & torque & 0-100. My mini has est 400kg more weight than any other mini due to certain upgrades and with this 400kg of extra weight I am matched to a scirocco neck on neck.....

Have you got the Supercharged R53? I would like to know what mods u did to get it to 160kw as i'm about to start modding my R53 soon if you dont mind:thumbs:

Cool thanks guys! Will definitely look into the JB stuff later , prob next year cause need to buy an engagement ring 1st lol
I did however go to bmw today and told them exactly what I did, they had a look and said there is no harm in doing what I did asit cant lead to any engine failure.
So mp still intact:thumbs:

Not on MP so im cool with that.. Just keen to see how it would run mapped coz I have all these upgrades but never quite see the full potential

Always wanted to mod R56 but with its Superknock problem isn't it useless? My car is stock driven by my wife 80% of the time and at 65000km no. 4 ring broke. So modded I really don't know. I rather just do downpipe and meth injection.

It must say that with the new motor it's running extremely well and I can feel the increased torque and not and single incident if super knock. I'm staring to believe more & more that this kak problem of carbon build up starts the knock problem where on my original motor it started to get worse with mileage and also believe that is what caused detonation to brake a ring. Would like to see the condition if my 135i intake. Read an article where a Rs4 gained 41whp after the clean.

Raced a friends stock Corsa OPC and its no match for a stock MCS. Pull away from the line and when i get to 3rd gear im about 2 cars ahead.

Nice motor, ive never really had the super knock issue... just kept using the fuel additive to pick up the octane and it kept it running strong for some time..
