Sup Guys
Been a while but I had a bit of work to do today. The SO finally traded in her Polo Vivo on this little Gem. Awesome little car and goes like the stink.
We had asked the sales lady not to wash the car. At first she thought it was a strange request but I didnt care. I didn't want those stupid uneducated car washers touching this car before I did. It def pays off in the long run and will do that for every car I buy new.
Long story short. I didn't have much time this weekend to do a proper correction detail but did what I could in the 4hrs I had available.
I have a lot of questions from people asking me why a new car should be detailed.. Well, ill let the pics do the talking..
The process was as followed.
Tyres were dressed with Satin and interior trims etc was treated with Spritz.
All glass was cleaned with Crystal and exhaust tips polished using mercury
I did inspect the car and there are a few light scratches on the paint but you will have to look really hard to see them.
Before's
Prior the the foaming stage the front and lower doors were treated with AF Citrus power to remove some grime
Foam
I spent the over an hour removing bonded contaminants that were stuck to the car. This was a very painful process cos it was so evident on the color. I couldn't pic up the contaminants on the camera but the clay was slightly yellow after I had clayed all the panels
Now for some magic. Claying removes alot of muck but Iron Out really ups the game in the decontamination department. I would highly recommend this product if you serious about keeping your car Iron free. I left the Iron out on the car for about 30min and rinsed the car thoroughly. Iron Out is PH neutral and can be used on panels windows and trim without causing any damage
Now for the Nasty
