Reflash & Anti-tuning Update Pricing

Hi guys, unfortunately anti-tuning & programming updates seem to be the order of the day with most manufacturers these days. This is causing us to have to flash to stock, reflash, then some cars are getting anti-tuning & that makes it harder, etc. So we have to start charging for flashing to stock & reflashing. We are not charging for the maps again, that is always for free. But we are charging for time & labour to reflash.

So all reflashes now till be R 500. That included flashing to stock & reflashing again. So you will have to pay R 500 after you come back from the dealer & want to reflash the tuned map back on.

Unfortunately, if your software has been updated & you now have to get a new tune from scratch or if you have got anti-tuning & need a new tune, that will cost R 1500 to reflash. There are costs from our side to do anti-tuning & a lot of labour to do a new tuned file again from scratch.

I don't know what the other tuners are doing, but this is what we are doing as this takes up a lot of our time.

Sherwin. Good decision. This is very reasonably priced and completely in line with market expectations. Rennzport is also forced, for example, to charge a fee to do a full diagnosic test with a report on customers cars; which previously used to be a free service. Unfortunately, we can no longer offer it as a free service. I understand your rationale. BMW is making the cars even more crack proof with each service.
