Recommended Map?

Hi members

Just like to which MHD stage map I should opt for. Vehicle 335i N54. Turbos replaced a few months back. Got CP, BOV, DP's, DCI's. From what i have researched is the Stage 2 flash is recommended, however I have come across a few posts where it has been mentioned that the fuel quality in South Africa is poor so sticking to the 91oct stage 2 is the best option. Any advises?

Stage 2 and stage 2+ is great, very strong maps however the turbos will eventually go if they are still the stock turbos.

Before going this route make sure to carry out all the maintenance of the car, new fresh oil, check for any vacuum leaks, in fact replace all the vacuum lines as any vacuum leak will increase the waste gate duty cycle of the turbos and cause them to fail even quicker.

Run the stock flash and do some logs and check to make sure everything is running well, I.e.: check Fuel trims, check hpfp pressure (rail pressure in MHD)
check timing across all 6 cylinders, check if boost = boos target, if its under target you have a boost leak, if its over target you have a stuffed boost solenoid. (this will quickly destroy your turbos).

if everything checks out and you have clean logs then load stage 1 and do the same, check those logs make sure everything is running great. and move on to stage 1+ and then stage 2 etc.

and yes with any of these maps you use 91oct95ron.
