My first BMW was E28 - Silver 520i auto, with "blue" cloth seats, sunroof
Dropped a valve, so the head was upgraded to one out of a 525,
It had great mid range power, and cruised nicely, very smooth
Unfortunely it was donated to the RDP fund one evening. Still miss it
But it is the reason I still prefer to drive 5 series today
Enjoy my E34 and E39, but would like another E28 again
