The culprit for the noise Kabir was complaining about, a seized pilot bearing...

This is the exact sound thats coming from my car :thumbdo: The so called experts said to do this, I have to send the entire gearbox for engineering works :blab: I need to move to JHB ASAP.....

Well i got the car back yesterday but took it easy on the road back to PTA as I had my wife and kid following.

I opened up on the freeway this morning and had a good run with a C200 CDI merc. :rollsmile: Will post in TLPG what happened.

The car feels really good. :thumbs::thumbs: to Gizmo for the fault finding and fixing alot of stuff.

He kept me posted thro' the week and sent me plenty photos explaining stuff.

I am really pi$$ed off with these guys that worked on my car. I first hint of a problem was when I found seals and nuts and bolts etc missing around the valve cover.

Spark plugs were bad due to oil leaks.

Ended up sorting it out myself. Drove around finding simple things like earth straps and cap nuts :bangdesk:.

Anyways I got the invoices together for all the work they did not do :thumbdo:, so I will approach them hopefully later this week. If they don't pay up I will name and shame on all forums, hellopeter etc.
