Good luck with getting more help from BMW SA.

When the guy who bought my M5 of me approached BMW SA for history on the car he said "everybody" at BMW SA knew about me and the history of my car, YET BMW SA has not yet resolved my complains against ANY dealer, which include Leo Haese Hatfield, so go figure...

Bordering on the ridiculous, did they think that you would not notice a 2nd time that the "repair" was still in place. Personally would never return to this dealership, perhaps take it to another dealership show them the repair and enquire if that is standard practice???

Methinks its time to get the media involved and then advise BMW HQ to follow upon that......

BMW SA doesn't seem very interested. At this stage they're pretty much a middle-man between me and the dealer and just send correspondence to and fro.

Do you think I should take it to them on Friday and let them fix it? After that I will never go there again.

Integrity seems to be lacking at this dealership, would really suggest you take your car to another dealer. Advise them on how you have been handled and ask them if they are any better, sometimes straight talking is the best option.

In reality BMW as a corporation could not really care less for an individual who has already bought and paid for their product....FACT. There is no real solution they will provide maybe a patronising letter??? It is the usual case of an individual facing of against a commercial giant, nothing much will come of it. Small consolation would be to take your story to the media(Carte Blanche), once again doubt much will come of it perhaps it will serve to inform a few other owners out there.

Sad but unfortunately this is how the world works.....

I'm speechless! Did you receive a copy of the jobcard? You should have. Is there any indication of work left to be done? If not then FSCK them!

I will take out a full page add in a local paper which they use to advertise in and print the pictures with a public explanation request directed at the DP in person naming him. See how long he takes to react then when HIS reputation come into the picture. Will not sit for this. FFS!! :ka-boom:

Presies wat ek wou doen, en dit is hoekom die groot maatskappye staatmaak ons kan dit nie doen:

Die tariewe is soos volg:

Rapport
Swart en wit: R227 150.00ex vat
1 spot kleur: R308 000.00ex vat
Volkleur: R346 500.00ex vat

Beeld:
Swart en Wit: R93 170.00ex vat
Volkleur: R130 570.00ex vat

i still believe if enough people complain it will make a difference... one or two complaints dont do anything but if they get a mountain load they should take note... in SA we too easily accept things and just leave it...

For motorplan related repair, the dealer will send the bill to BMW SA, right? What's the bill that this dealer sent to BMW SA? Is BMW SA not paying the dealer for work not done? Is BMW SA not concerned that the dealers are doing them in? Who is checking this?

I remember when we were in the first credit crunch (2 or so years ago), BMW SA had a representative go out to each MP claim to evaluate if it REALLY needed to be replaced. Looks like BMW SA is losing money because of their slack attitude.

+1 I've had it with incompetence and poor service - as per my other thread. If you take my money, I want something in return. NOT NEGOTIABLE.

The issue was correctly fixed after my last visit. The bracket and pipe was installed and the cloth removed.

I did not receive a single apology when I collected my car. Pathetic!!

I will never again buy or have my cars serviced by Leo Haese. All maintenance are now being done by Menlyn Auto, and i've received EXCELLENT service from them.

i started the what dealerships are good?

for two reasons...

so we can decide what place is is most lightly to give us a good job
and
to build up some sort of evidence as to who bmwSA need to sort out

there are alot of complaints but we need to make them hit home and reach the right people...

Someone needs to be fired!!! this is disgusting! What is going on with BMW dealerships??? The little experience I had from BMW dealerships (Forsdicks Tygervally) was extremely bad as well. What is the point of BMW dealerships if they cant do anything right? Might as well resort to "backyard-unprofessional" mechies.

I am really disappointed with BMW dealerships. :thumbdo:
